Beginning March 26, 2022, SeaDream Yacht Club’s SeaDream I yacht will undergo a dramatic refit, mirroring the modernization of SeaDream II completed in January 2022. “This project involves a total investment of over $10 million and reflects the commitment SeaDream’s commitment to the comfort of our customers. and optimal comfort,” says Andreas Brynestad of the SeaDream Yacht Club. “In these unprecedented times, as the travel industry navigates the COVID-19 pandemic, we have spared no expense in our mission to deliver an elevated customer experience. We believe the time is right to invest our dollars in the evolution of SeaDream yachting.

Founded in 2001, SeaDream Yacht Club’s 56-cabin twin yachts are highly regarded for their 5-star service, award-winning cuisine and intimate onboard ambience, with all the activities offered outdoors. The renovation project includes many touch points, with each upgrade designed to align with the desires of today’s luxury traveler. Under the direction of renowned European architects and designers, these meticulously designed upgrades provide guests with state-of-the-art technology, functional and improved cabin space and luxurious lounging areas on all decks, including Deck 6, now called SeaClub.

A few of the dozens of upgrades include:

— Complete renovation of all cabins, starting from bare steel, with the installation of all new hardware and streamlined upholstery and storage areas that provide a more comfortable and functional space.

— State-of-the-art electrical upgrades in all cabins, including USB/USBC charging ports, Wi-Fi and sensor lighting, putting the world at passengers’ fingertips.

—New 55” LED TVs in all cabins offering a wide selection of movies, TV channels and an infotainment system.

—Magnificent Burmese teak wood decking on all exterior decks, reflecting a centuries-old yachting tradition of durability and luxury.

—New Balinese dream beds, chaise lounges and stargazers handcrafted from timeless premium mahogany, with Italian Loro Piana upholstery and cushions and bespoke Frette Italian towels.

—New TUUCI designer umbrellas and hammocks on all exterior decks.

— Thoughtful crystal details, woven lines, silver ice buckets, embroidered silk pajamas and GIOBAGNARA serving trays add an elegant finishing touch.

—Two new couples hot tubs on deck 6 forward offer stunning 360 degree views. Two new outdoor rain showers are perfect for cooling off after sunbathing.

—An enhanced marina platform, unique to SeaDream yachts, for unprecedented guest enjoyment.

—The new Instagram wall invites passengers to create and share their stories with friends and family on board.
