The South West Toppers were at Paignton Sailing Club for a weekend of training and racing.

On Saturday morning, the sailors found themselves in champagne conditions – sun, breeze and beautiful scenery.

RYA Regional Training Group Head Coach Jack Mitchell and Coaches Jack Miller and Mark Ripley divided the sailors into three groups and they spent most of the day practicing the little bits of sailing that each sailor felt have to improve.

Tom Smith of Stoke Gabriel Boating Association came first in the smaller 4.2 sail.
