Partnership Carson City, Carson City Sheriff’s Office, and School Resource Officers offer Responsible Beverage Server Training, a course for those looking to become certified to serve and sell alcohol, tobacco or marijuana products in Carson City.
According to Revised Nevada Statutes 4.13.170, anyone who sells or serves alcohol is legally required to take the course. Responsible Beverage Server training is also open to anyone interested in learning more about Underage Alcohol Use (EUDL) law enforcement in Carson City. The next training will be Thursday, September 16 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Partnership Carson City, 1925 N Carson St.
In this course, participants learn effective ways to verify identity documents, the importance of keeping harmful substances out of the reach of young minors, and the consequences of serving and / or selling to young minors. The cost is $ 20 and can be paid in cash or by check. Personal checks are not accepted and cashier’s checks should be made payable to Partnership Carson City. Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive certification to sell and serve alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana products in Carson City.
