BBC breakfast presenter Dan Walker admitted he was “really struggling” on Come dance strictly before his next dance.
The sports specialist and the early morning host, who is in partnership with Nadiya Bychkova, is about to perform a paso doble for Giant by Calvin Harris and Rag N Bone Man this weekend.

Today he responded to a fan’s Twitter message asking how his legs felt as he continued his rigorous training regimen.
“The legs are a bit tired. I’ll be honest with you… â€Walker wrote. “I’m really struggling with this week’s dance. Nothing entered yesterday. It was just a sweaty mess.
«Back today with [Bychkova] so hopefully something will click.
The 44-year-old completed his first routine with Bychkova on Saturday night at the start of the series competition.

The high-energy routine clearly took its toll and Walker was seen lying face down on the ground immediately after finishing.
Anton Du Beke, who rose to the bench for the first time in this series, admitted he thought Walker would be “awful” but was taken aback by his efforts.
Speaking to Claudia Winkleman after the performance, Walker said, “I’ve spent most of my life terrified of dance floors because I’m tall and clumsy.
“This amazing woman allowed me to do it in just 10 days, which is really amazing.
“She deserves all the praise for me not looking like an idiot there.”

“I said I would give him a gift if we had double digits, so I’d better sort it out,” he added.
Walker dedicated the dance to his former co-star Louise Minchin, who left her post on BBC breakfast Last week.
The star had better put on his dancing shoes quickly if he is to have a chance of reaching the glittering ball, with the first elimination taking place this week.
The dragon’s lair Star Sara Davies is currently at the bottom of the table with Aljaz Skorjanec, while presenter AJ Odudu has climbed to the top with new pro Kai Widdrington.

But everything is still to be decided with the scores of last week which extend into the second week.
Sadly, McFly star Tom Fletcher and partner Amy Dowden will be unable to compete this week, after both testing positive for the coronavirus.
They are now isolated in the hope that they will return in the third week.
Come dance strictly continues Saturday night on BBC One, with the results airing Sunday night.
