Neymar shows off his ripped physique in Instagram post from training in Brazil

Neymar once again scorned claims he was “out of shape” and “overweight” by posting Instagram photos of his ripped physique during a training session with Brazil.

The Paris Saint-Germain star’s fitness level has been criticized by fans and media in France after a photo of him shirtless on a yacht surfaced online.

Neymar, 29, was on vacation at the time following his Copa America exploits for Brazil in the summer and had yet to return to pre-season training with PSG.

His late return from the tournament means Neymar only played 66 minutes in PSG’s first four Ligue 1 games.

But that was still enough time for French media and fans on social media to laugh at him because he is far from being in great shape after playing for just over an hour in the victory. 2-0 for PSG on Reims.

And he was “big ashamed” again after playing in Brazil’s 1-0 win over Chile in a World Cup qualifier.

He first responded by explaining that he wore a bigger shirt than usual when playing for Brazil, which could have made him look taller than usual.

Neymar wrote on his Instagram Stories that he wears a ‘size G’ (large in European measurements) and insisted he was his normal weight.

He added that he would ask for his usual “average” height for his next game, his message accompanied by several laughing emojis.

And in another Instagram post this weekend, he added four topless photos showing him flexing his muscles on the training ground.

It was accompanied by the word “Ué” which in English translates to something like “huh”.

Among those who commented with a series of laughing emojis were PSG strike partner Kylian Mbappe and his international colleagues Vinicius Jr and Marcelo.

Brazil will face former Argentinian rivals in their next World Cup qualifier on Sunday, then conclude the final line of internationals with a game against Peru in midweek.
