Damen Yachting’s SeaXplorer team unveiled the first SeaXplorer 60. The hybrid-powered vessel is currently under construction for delivery in 2024. The new SeaXplorer 60 is now fully designed and steel cutting will take place at Damen Yachting’s construction facilities.
By starting the construction of SeaXplorer from the ground up, Damen Yachting continues its successful approach to Amels Limited Editions by delivering reliable and customizable luxury explorers with the shortest delivery times on the market.

The new SeaXplorer design is a unique cross innovation of Amels’ pedigree with Damen’s shipbuilding know-how. With a gross tonnage of 1,160, the exploration yacht features high-volume luxury interiors and extensive expedition capabilities, including ample customization possibilities for tropical, polar and all manner of intermediate adventures.
The helideck, when not in use for helicopter operations, is ideal as a 150m² party deck to entertain up to 100 guests or as a basketball half court. Under the helideck, the SeaXplorer 60 has a flexible configuration for a wide range of tenders up to 10.5 min in length, a submarine, snowmobiles, jet skis or sailboats. The covered outdoor area, with a total area of ​​195 m², offers owners the possibility of creating a luxury hut and bar, a diving terrace, a fitness and wellness area or a ski chalet. skiing – depending on the owner’s needs and vision.

Together with its operational design partner, EYOS Expeditions, Damen Yachting designed the SeaXplorer with hard-earned expedition experience in the field. The yacht has hybrid power and propulsion with battery banks, a fully certified helideck, Ice Class and IMO Polar Code engineering. Its stores and tanks allow up to 30 days of autonomous and safe operations in non-stop isolation.
A custom concept was created by designer Jonny Horsfield and his London-based team at H2 Design. The yacht applies a crisp design language with a bold, rich palette and use of warm wood. The materials and curves create a calming atmosphere and retain that connectivity to the ocean that is predominant in the design of the yacht.
