“We are very proud of our new creation, the custom-built 82 superyacht. This design was conceived as a perfect blend of the needs of the client, who requested a premium cruising yacht with the ultimate in luxury fittings and finishes,” says Yigit Akbarlas, Production Manager. “Additionally, this yacht offers owners the option of commanding the vessel themselves or allowing a small crew to live and work on board in safety and style.”
The interior combines classic finishes, matching mahogany veneers and high end joinery. The layout is designed to take advantage of the boat’s width of 6.19 meters to allow for three large cabins with queen-size berths in two of them. In the master, stateroom stretches the entire beam.
The main saloon opens to the single-level aft cockpit through double sliding doors and offers ample seating configurations for large families or social gatherings.
A pair of facing L-shaped settees in the cockpit plus a large, straight L-shaped settee in the salon easily accommodate twenty people in comfort and style.
The main helm station is also located in the saloon, providing the captain with an unobstructed view all around while sailing.
Vicem’s 82 Superyacht is powered by two Volvo Penta 900 hp D13 diesel engines. The vessel’s sea trials achieved top speeds of 17.8 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
Built with a hard-chine semi-displacement hull, the Vicem 82 Superyacht is constructed from cold molded mahogany using Akzo Nobel-International epoxy, resulting in a strong, lightweight hull. Construction will use cold molded plywood decks, superstructure and roof, sheathed in two layers of biaxial E-glass fabric with epoxy coating and lamination.
The newly released 82 is expected to be available to the public at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival 2022.
