On the heels of one of the hottest NFTs of the year, Bored Ape Yacht Club, the same artist recently announced the launch of a new NFT community this weekend called Sneaky Vampire Syndicate. It is already receiving a lot of buzz on the internet as the NFT frenzy continues to attract investors and enthusiasts. The Sneaky Vampire Syndicate will also look to build a community larger than the NFTs themselves, including plans for a complementary game that has caught the attention of gamers. We caught up with the Sneaky Vampire Syndicate team of co-founders to get a sneak peek at the collection’s next release on Saturday.

GritDaily: What inspired the SVS project?

Sneaky Vampire Syndicate: The Sneaky Vampire Syndicate is an NFT project born from an idea between a group of friends. All of us here on the team have been friends for quite some time now and have been exposed to the NFT scene. We figured that since we’ve seen so many animal projects in space, it would be cool to bring something new to the community that could encapsulate pop culture as well as bring a breath of fresh air to the community. NFT scene as a whole; so we ended up on Vampires. The Sneaky Vampire Syndicate is our take on a refreshing yet innovative NFT project.

GD: What made it such a popular project in the NFT community?

SVS: Our launch (9 days ago) was a surprise for the community. Once we got started and revealed ourselves to be the team behind the project, as well as our partnership with our artist Migwashere (former Bored Ape Yacht Club artist), our whole project started to explode. We have seen insane community support on a daily basis and organic growth and the support has been tremendous.

GD: What future stages could the project have?

SVS: We currently have a roadmap, showing only a small part of what the project needs to come.

All vampire owners will receive a special companion, exclusive merchandise will be released, and there will also be the introduction of the “Vampire Lair”, allowing other vampires to hang out with friends in the MetaVerse.

We also already have several milestones not included in our roadmap, including a game already in development. This browser game will only be accessible to vampire owners and will allow SVS owners to use their vampire in the game.

We also have a lot more planned to bring in down the line – which we cannot yet reveal.

GD: What excites you the most about the future of the NFT space as a whole?

SVS: An exciting development of the NFT space as a whole is the increased utility of NFTs. Until now, the usefulness of many projects has been minimal, the only goals being investments or “profile picture projects”.

We’re delighted that a primary focus of not only our project, but others as well, is starting to embrace more “real” cases for their NFTs, such as being able to access and play as a vampire in our game.

GD: What are some of the disruptive possibilities in NFTs?

SVS: NFTs have incredible potential with what they can bring to our future. As it is now, we know that in the traditional world, especially in the art world, things have been trending the same for many years. We’ve already started to see the disruptive possibilities of NFTs with things like large NFT collections hitting a lot of big traditional auction houses and art galleries. It’s obvious and clear that this is just the start of a great era in digital art and we couldn’t be more proud to be able to participate and engage in such a promising time.
