Tourism Fiji relaunched its Matai training last week for travel agents and the tourism industry.

This program includes six courses with interactive content that involves active experiences, off-the-beaten-path regions, an introduction to Fiji, the most well-known regions, relaxed experiences and selling Fiji.

According to Tourism Fiji’s Managing Director, Brent Hill, the program aims to keep partner countries informed of developments and opportunities in Fiji.

“The guest who enters the travel agency in Europe or the United States and wants to know how to get to the Royal Davui complex, then the agents who have been trained in the Matai program will be able to say that watching can jump in a car, walk down to the coast and take a boat from the Pearl to Royal Davui.”

Hill adds that with world-class digital marketing, they intend to build more audiences through remarketing and use programmatic media to target key audiences who are engaged and want to explore further.
