Green Yard Kleven has already delivered two superyachts, 107.4m Andromeda in 2016 and 116m Ulysse in 2018 and with YPI’s sales and marketing expertise firmly behind them, it will launch new construction projects from 80m, with construction sites available immediately. Collaboration with YPI, through their sales team based in Monaco but connected to the world, brings Green Yard Kleven actively into the yacht market.

“We see the construction of large yachts, aka superyachts, as a very current market for us. YPI yacht brokers are experienced and have an extensive network in the industry. Working with them means that we can get in touch with yacht brokers, representatives and direct customers all over the world in a completely different way than if we had to do it alone, ”said Hans Jørgen Fedog, CEO of Green Yard Group.

The name Kleven is known in the shipbuilding and yachting industry as a brand of quality and in recent years also as a pioneer in battery technology, hybrid vessels and full cycle construction plans to recycle. . Yacht building in Northern Europe is considered to be the best in the world and the backdrop for the Ulsteinvik shipyard is second to none with relatively easy access by land, air and sea.

“There is a growing demand for large yachts with high quality construction, cleaner energy solutions and shipping capabilities. Green Yard Kleven offers the right facilities, expertise in more sustainable energy choices and construction niches with efficient delivery times, making it a key player in the 80m + market. Our mission is to ensure that all potential customers looking in this size range are aware of the excellent package available, ”commented Peter Thompson, Managing Partner, Yacht Sales, Yachting Partners International.

For Green Yard Kleven, this collaboration is important and exciting in a difficult market.

“We have seen the market grow from a handful of enthusiastic multi-millionaires who build, buy and operate superyachts to over 7,800 operating superyachts worldwide, and currently over 600 under construction. There are 152 yachts over 80 meters in service and 33 more under construction. Over the past two years, the number of yachts over 80 meters in operation has increased by 22%, and we think it’s pretty clear that there is a good market right now for building larger superyachts in particular. . Green Yard Kleven has the ability to start a new construction project immediately, which is also a great advantage, ”said Russell Crump, consultant and Peter Thompson, managing partner, Yacht

Sales, Yachting Partners International.

Yachting Partners International is a full service yacht house with 49 years of experience, guiding clients through all aspects of yachting travel through yacht sales, charter, management and a unique customer experience division. . YPI specializes in yachts over 25m, covering the full range of superyachts and smaller dayboats if required.
