Shipbuilder Alpha Custom Yachts is a family business known for its elegant, unique and innovative vessels. The brand’s new build yachts can be fully customized according to customer preferences.

The all-new Spritz 116 might be the perfect example of awesome features. With five guest cabins including a full-beam master cabin, it’s hard to beat all the benefits of this particular model.

There are many benefits to owning a new Alpha Custom yacht, especially the Spritz 116. Here are the three main features:

Huge interior and exterior volume

Alpha Custom Yachts worked with Italian superyacht designer Giorgio Cassetta and naval architect Laurent Giles to create a distinct vessel with an elegant interior layout as well as thoughtful exterior space for the Spritz 116. Like many Alpha yachts , the interior of this yacht prioritizes comfort without compromising personal space. Head sizes and bed widths in twin cabins are similar to a 145′ yacht. In the VIP cabins, the beds are king-size, offering plenty of room to move around.

This is made possible by an exceptionally wide beam – the molded beam is a rare 26’11” on a yacht of this length. For comparison, the beam of yachts of comparable length are often at least 3ft less. the obvious implication it has on volume, the hull design (combined with lightweight composite construction) has also resulted in an extremely shallow draft of 5’8″, which is desirable for cruising in areas like the Bahamas to the Sea of Cortez in Mexico.

The Alpha Spritz 116 outdoor spaces have several locations available to set up in full sun or in the shade. The aft deck features a hydraulically operated platform capable of supporting a tender, an impressive plunge pool that can be covered in teak to serve as a dance floor, an outdoor lounge overlooking the pool and a stunning outdoor dining area – more about that later. Another spacious saloon with plenty of seating is on the foredeck, and the 100m² flybridge deck not only offers plenty of space and panoramic views.

Closed outdoor dining area

Family shipbuilder Alpha Yachts is known for building its vessels with shared space and family in mind. With this notion, all of its yachts have an extremely well-planned outdoor dining area. The aft deck of the Spritz 116 features a spacious, well-protected dining area that seats 12 people, which does not often happen on a yacht of this size. The space is enclosed for a pleasant and comfortable outdoor dining experience.

The covered alfresco dining area is located forward on the aft deck and connects the outdoor beach club and the indoor main lounge. It is equipped with a large marble dining table and a bar with sink on the port side. Overhead, the teak ceiling helps wick away moisture and is specially designed to include air conditioning vents, LED lighting and a surround sound system.

Endless customization options

The Spritz 116 can be fitted out and adapted as you see fit and according to your wishes. Any specific custom features can be added.

For shipbuilders and designers, “the whole vision…was to meet the needs of the owners of these boats, rather than those of the shipyard – to ignore generally accepted trade-offs to make yachts profitable and unnecessarily conservative in style and layout,” explains Cassette. Key examples are 7′ 3″ ceilings, extended sound insulation, floating floors, crew cabins with raised beds, soft wide stairs, wide beds, showers and full size closets , custom paint accents on the waterline and on the radar domes, and more, but most importantly, there is so much more that can be customised.

Alpha Custom Yachts was founded by two brothers, Jorge and Roberto Aboumrad, who say their love for the sea began at an early age. They began their journey in the industry over 30 years ago, founding Performance Boats, which is now the largest boat dealership in Mexico. They began to realize that their ideal yacht, one that prioritized the connection between friends, family and the sea, just wasn’t on the market. They were inspired to take matters into their own hands. Taking inspiration from today’s yacht owners and their needs, they broke the boundaries of traditional yacht design and forged a new design and engineering standard for yachts in the 30 meter size range.
Denison has long been a leader in the yachting industry with a rich family history dating back to 1948 and the beginning of Broward Marine in Fort Lauderdale. Today, the company provides comprehensive yachting services worldwide, including superyacht sales, yacht charters, crew placement and new build. Denison operates from 21 waterfront offices in the United States and a location in Monaco with a team of over 100 licensed and bonded yacht brokers.
