QUINCY – The Rotary Club of Quincy will host the second “Bourbon and Popcorn” event on Saturday, November 5 at the Quincy Boat Club. Doors open at 6 p.m. and tastings from 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $50 each and include six tastings, popcorn, a raffle ticket and a souvenir drink for #endpolionow. All proceeds will go to End Polio Now and will be matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Last year’s event raised $9,000, which grew to $27,000 through the foundation’s match.

The Rotary Club also sells raffle tickets for a chance to win one of five specialty bourbons. The winning ticket will be drawn at Quincy Brewing Company on Monday, October 24 — World Polio Day. Doors open at 5 p.m. with a $5 admission fee. All proceeds from this event will also go to End Polio Now.
