The world’s biggest boat builders are using Cannes to strut their latest launches in front of the yachting world, and what a spectacle that promises to be. Canceled last year due to Covid, next week’s event from September 7 to 12 promises a banner display in one of the most beautiful ports in the Mediterranean, with multiple launches across all segments. The show is divided between the Old Port, with 450 motor boats and yachts up to 150 feet, in Porto Canto with 108 new launches in the Espace Voile and 50 brokerage yachts.

Cannes will also include an area dedicated to electric boats, multihulls and innovative designs as well as a sea trial area. The Luxury Gallery is intended for owners who wish to see the latest designs and equipment, while two special sections called The Jetée and Superyacht Extension are dedicated to the largest yachts in the show. After the shortage last year of major boat shows, including Monaco and Miami, Cannes promises a return to a new normal in the world of yachting, populated by pent-up demand and many new arrivals.

These 10 yachts are not only among the biggest at this year’s show, but also herald many innovations in design, use of exterior and interior space and range of styles. It’s going to be a good year for yachting.
