TF35 Scarlino 2022 at Yacht Club Isole di Toscana – Preview

A few days after the end of the Royal Cup 52 Super Series Scarlino, which saw the Maremma of one-design mainsail, the Yacht Club Isole di Toscana returns to the forefront of international sailing by hosting the TF35 class for the second consecutive year , to consecrate once again how the Gulf of Follonica and the facilities of Marina di Scarlino are among the most popular destinations of the main One Design classes in the world.
From October 6th to 9th, the TF35 acrobatic catamarans are heading back out to sea, boats with extreme performance which will compete in the waters of the Gulf for the final test of their second circuit.
Six 35-foot catamarans will compete for the TF35 SCARLINO 2022. For the moment, the management of the circuit belongs to the Swiss Alinghi Red Bull Racing, pressed just two points behind its compatriot Realteam for Léman Espoir.
The spectacle will be guaranteed, with the program 4/6 very fast regattas per day, lasting 20/30 minutes.
“Hosting events of this competitive level and of such spectacularity and at the same time being able to contribute to the seasonal adjustment of our territory, attracting qualified flows fills us with pride.” Commented the general manager of Marina di Scarlino, Stefan Neuhaus. “As the 2022 racing season draws to a close, we are working towards a 2023 season that will bring exciting international events to the region.”
The event is organized by the Yacht Club Isole di Toscana, with the support of the municipality of Scarlino and the synergistic collaboration of Marina di Scarlino, Scarlino Yacht Service and Marina di Scarlino Resort.
