RotaGiorgino shares an update on its new collection

International design and architecture studio RotaGiorgino announces its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show with a new collection of furniture, home accessories and lighting installations.

Designed exclusively for the Florentine company Taurini Pianeta Gemme, leader of the global natural stone industry, the latest collections of RotaGiorgino are the result of the studio’s extensive research into the world of natural materials and their consequent application to the projects of interior and architecture.

The collection will be exhibited on the Taurini Pianeta Gemme stand at the Monaco Yacht Show, Stand PP9

‘D’ – The collection includes a series of chairs, sofas and bar stools that are completely handcrafted and covered in leather or fabric. Each piece is embellished with precious stone details at the level of the hands so that everyone can appreciate the smooth or textured finish of the materials, but above all feel its preciousness while experiencing the comfort of a full sensory experience.

‘Gorgoni’ – The perfect combination of natural materials and advanced technology. Inspired by the Gorgons, the three terrifying creatures from Greek mythology who would turn to stone those who dared to look at their beauty, this collection features works of petrified wood, a material millions of years old.

This exclusive and incredibly old material takes center stage in the collection, making each piece unique and drawing a fine line between art and design.

Named after the three Gorgoni sisters, the collection includes Medusa, a mirror framed by sections of petrified wood where the texture of the bark contrasts sharply with the polish of the flat surface; the Steno coffee table which celebrates beauty and the latest technologies with a two-level top where petrified wood harmoniously meets liquid metal and resin; Euriale, the elegant side table with a solid petrified wood top supported by slices of charred logs.

In addition to the collection of furniture and home accessories, RotaGiorgino will present a list of light installations made in collaboration with the young and dynamic light workshop Promotech.

Ripples – is created with aligned agate discs of different colors and sizes. The tip of the center branch features a recessed LED light that illuminates the area below, while all agate discs are backlit, creating an elegant and colorful environment.

Multiple Ripples can be installed together, creating an organic and refined lighting installation with unprecedented textures and color nuances.

Drops – is a modern interpretation of classic chandeliers. The crystal drops are gathered in groups of three around an LED light, which illuminates them creating beautiful lighting patterns.

Starfish – Inspired by the organic shapes of the eponymous sea creature, this is an elegant fixture with an intricate yet elegant pattern. Each branch has three quartz prisms which are placed on top of each other and twisted slightly to create a star shape. The repetition of these stars creates an intricate yet sophisticated lighting installation that can be fully customized for site specific installations and projects.
