Summary under the bridge: the training day is over

So where were we boaters? Ah okay, the bomb Jake Foulger let it go that he was engaged. The next morning, the whole Under the bridge the crew wake up hungover as all go out, with Rayna lindsey more than ready to spread that bit of gossip all over the yacht. However, Jake is quick to clarify: yes, he is engaged. He’s just not monogamous, my love. It’s his fiancée, not his girlfriend, okay? (He also claimed that they were in a relationship for the bride to immigrate, but it is not known if that was a joke …) Either way, the point is that the main deckhand is meant to spread the love around, my darling. And just you wait.

The crew may have all day to turn around, but there is still time to Captain Lee Rosbach to hold a foil meeting preferably. The next group of charter guests will be interesting. They are two families on vacation together to celebrate one of the 75th anniversary of the co-primaries. And their ages are everywhere. We have adults. We are in our twenties. And we have a child. Which means a lot of babysitting on board. But hey, that must be better than the rowdy bunch of real estate agents we just went through, right? Plus, their requests seem pretty straightforward: a casino night, an ’80s-themed neon birthday party, and that’s about it.

The rest of the day is a bit hazy, with quarrels in the two departments. Rayna and Wes o dell continue to irritate Jacquesleadership style. Basically they don’t like being told to go faster when they have all day to clean the boat. And Jessica albertmopey’s attitude is finally starting to creak over the rest of the interior. But when Heather chase takes her aside for a pep talk, the third stew reveals that she is shaken because she woke up to learn that her beloved grandmother had undergone a surprise medical procedure back on earth. The night ends with Jake and Fraser olender links while the latter shares his coming out story. And all I can say is look at this space …

Pickup day, however, begins with minor chaos. First of all, Fraser can’t find his radio. And what was the only thing Captain lee said at his first crew meeting of the season? Well, in addition to his cardinal rule “Don’t you embarrass yourself or the boat?” ” Oh that’s right. Never. Never. Under any circumstances. Lose your radio. Whoops. Cap threatened that if you can’t find your radio, he probably has it in the wheelhouse, but with the guests arriving, Fraser doesn’t have time to ask. So instead, heater tells him to continue without the radio and make the most of it. But as the crew scramble, Captain Lee is magically the only one on deck when he makes the five-minute roll call.

One way or another, everyone arrives in time for the guests to walk around the pier. And we weren’t wrong, this new batch is certainly eclectic. But in the right way! They seem lively and kind. One of the women, Jodi, is particularly kind to Captain lee… Basically, she’s flirting with him the second they meet, and the kid even arrives with a mini-suitcase full of tips handcuffed to his wrist. As if the crew no longer needed the motivation to keep a close eye on them on board. A little hilarious, Fraser reveals via a confessional that he was actually a nanny, even though he sort of hates children.

After a rather nerve-racking takeoff in shallow water, charter number three is on its way to the races. But not before the deck crew lost a volleyball against the windy seas. Considering the complaints of the day before, Jacques decides to try a different approach with Rayna. Instead of giving her orders, he will invest in her. He teaches her how to anchor once the yacht reaches Shitten Bay, and the Green Deckhand seems to understand this method of instruction much better. Here is while hoping anyway. And speaking of hope, while Chief Rachel Hargrove serves lunch in the main dining room because of the wind, a frenzy Fraser finally finds his radio. Apparently he dropped it in one of the holds. Phew, that’s a relief.

The first night is the royal casino party requested by the guests, with Captain lee join them for dinner. So while the interior transforms the dining room into an extravagant game of chance, Eddie lucas steals a moment to apologize to his girlfriend for their argument last week. (If you remember he was in hot water for picking up a bikini heater in the hot tub.) Yeah… based on Eduardo’s track record over the seasons, I for one don’t have much hope for this last long distance relationship…

For dinner, Chief Rachel turns out to be an Italian feast that goes perfectly with all games of chance. But if Jodi has what she wants, the main course served might just be Captain lee! The charter guest is clearly in love with the Stud of the Sea. She doesn’t even try to hide it with her husband sitting at the table. Jodi, hilarious and rather shameless, spends the entire meal flirting with the captain. And by the time he retires for the evening, she practically tries to follow him into his cabin. And honestly, Captain Lee’s visibly uncomfortable reaction to all this attention was by far the best part.

During this time, JessicaAnother problem is the work ethic behind the bridge. It essentially fails to make drawdowns; cabins are messy, details unchecked. The level of basic housekeeping is so bad that it even has heater to complain to Fraser. And these two barely support each other! As Jessica checks in with her grandma on FaceTime, the rest of the team starts chatting behind her back. Group dynamics have been relatively peaceful and co-peaceful so far, but just about everyone is betting there’s a good chance Jessica will be the first to start making things miserable on board.

The next morning is the second day of the charter. And the wind has not abated. The storm is so strong that when the yacht leaves its anchorage, the aft deck cushions fly out into the ocean. But really, the wind isn’t to blame because the bridge team is the one that didn’t secure the cushions in the first place. And now the off-screen chef must jump into the tender to go save some cushions in the middle of the ocean. Naturally, Captain lee is exasperated by this development. How many things have to fly overboard before the deck crew get together? he instructs Eddie that it is time to lay down the law. Because if Eddie doesn’t get the bridge team up and running, the captain’s wrath will come down on him.
