The club’s coaches, many returning particularly from mainland colleges, and a group of loyal volunteers have helped meet the needs of a range of rowers, including high-achieving rowers, intermediates, juniors and complete beginners .
Guest coaches included Tom Bowles, Hartpury College’s Pathway coach, who improved the offer for J16 athletes competing in Nottingham at the weekend in the Interregional Junior Championships.
Blessed with glorious weather and a stunning location, all athletes were able to benefit from a range of boats and training sessions, culminating in side-by-side 1000m and 200m races on Sunday.
