Launch of the first Ferretti 860 yacht

The first Ferretti 860 series unit was launched eight months after the project was announced.

The 26.95m yacht has been commissioned by an Italian owner who will spend the rest of the summer season cruising the Mediterranean ahead of the Cannes Yachting Festival where the Ferretti 860 will make her world debut.

The Ferretti 860 is the third yacht developed in collaboration with Filippo Salvetti, who designed the exterior of the vessel, and Ideaeitalia, who created the interior design concepts. Her profile features Art Deco-inspired curves and bulwark cutouts providing uninterrupted exterior views from the main salon and dining area.

The yacht’s aft deck offers generous seating for alfresco dining, while above the flybridge features an exterior helm station to starboard as well as a sit-down bar and L-shaped sofa. outdoor seating is located at the bow.

The owner opted for the Classic Mood interior package with a warm and dark color scheme. While the interior layout has yet to be revealed, the standard configuration includes three double cabins on the lower deck and can accommodate six guests, with the master suite amidships and the crew cabins forward. .

The Ferretti 860 offers two propulsion packages: a pair of 2000 MAN V12 engines with a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots; or a pair of MAN V12 1800 engines for a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots.
