The 127-meter sailboat Oceanco, reportedly commissioned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, was first seen after deploying the hangars at the Zwijndrecht shipyard.

It comes after a new book published this year appears to confirm long-standing rumors that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is the owner of the secret 127-meter sailboat.

In the book, Amazon unrelated, an excerpt from which was published by Bloomberg, the superyacht is described as “one of the most beautiful sailing ships in existence”, with “several decks” and “three enormous masts”. The book reports that an accompanying support boat is also under construction.

Oceanco is no stranger to record-breaking superyachts. The shipyard delivered the 106.7 meters Black Pearl in 2018, which remains the largest DynaRig sailboat in the world, characterized by three carbon masts 70 meters high.
