The Gilda’s Club New Hampshire would like to thank everyone who helped make our inaugural Dragon Boat Festival a resounding success – our captains and their amazing teams, our corporate and organizational sponsors and supporters, the Department of safety of New Hampshire, the city of Laconia, our volunteers, and the many spectators on the beach, boardwalk and boating.

Thanks to the generosity of the Lake District community, Gilda’s Club New Hampshire has raised over $ 37,000 to help us move closer to our goal of opening a space for people living with cancer. With New Hampshire projected in 2021 to have 9,560 new cancer cases and an estimated 2,840 cancer deaths, more than ever before, individuals, families, children, friends and colleagues affected by cancer need the services they need. ” offers a Gilda’s Club – support groups, educational and healthy lifestyle programs, children’s events, social connections and networking (with others who have faced or are currently facing similar challenges), information and referrals on cancer, all at no cost.

If you would like more information about Gilda’s Club New Hampshire, visit our website gildasclubnh.org.

And if you would like to become a member of Gilda’s Club as a volunteer, just email us at [email protected].

And mark your calendars … the dragons will return in September 2022.
