A closer look at the new Pershing 6X
The new entry in the Generation X range had its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021. The new Pershing 6X expresses the boldest and most fearless side of the brand’s character, through a series of new features that reflect the Unprecedented high standards of the Generation X model range, with which the Modolfo-based shipyard has defined a new paradigm for exciting cruising. Pershing 6X exterior 18.94 m long and 4.8 m wide, Pershing 6X is the result of a collaboration between the Ferretti group’s product strategy committee headed by Mr. Piero Ferrari, the design office headed by Fulvio De Simoni, and the group’s engineering department. The cockpit has a generously sized sundeck with an ergonomic backrest framed by a spoiler on the aft side. The front seat completes this spacious sundeck, which also allows easy access to the garage. The sun lounger can be lengthened by folding down the backrest of the front seat. Opposite, the dining room is dominated by an L-shaped sofa that seats up to eight people and a sliding and extendable coffee table in soft touch carbon fiber, with a top also available in soft touch teak. Protected by the end section of the superstructure, the cockpit has a starboard bar with a built-in sink and, on request, a grill and ice maker or refrigerator. Bow Pershing 6X Also in this area is the entrance to the crew quarters, with a cabin and bathroom for one crew member. The other outdoor spaces stand out for their aesthetics and functionality. The ability to raise and lower the table turns the dining area into a space for meals or coffee breaks. Opposite are the TV cabinet and storage compartments. Main cabin of the Pershing 6X The first Pershing 6X unit has a configuration with three cabins – main, VIP forward and guest on starboard. The version for the American market has two cabins – master and VIP – with a living space replacing the guest cabin. Pershing 6X Exterior This model has a clean, streamlined design with a highly aerodynamic profile; an incredible top speed of 48 knots and a cruising speed of approximately 42 knots; technological innovations that ensure maximum comfort on board; the system that integrates propulsion control with maneuvering, navigation and monitoring systems to ensure maximum ease of use.
