Founded 15 years ago on the Côte d’Azur, Fendress specializes in inflatable fenders for yachts. These mudguards are designed to be light, strong and ultra-resistant. In addition, they look great!

Stronger

Fendress uses a combination of consolidated PVC and Kevlar backing to create a strong protective layer. This makes it one of the strongest inflatable fenders on the market. Watch this video of a Fendress fender facing off against an excavator!

The majority of the range (except the larger sizes) comes with a single stainless ring at the top and bottom of the fender. However, a Fendress Multi D-ring kit is available to distribute the load, if additional strength / safety is required. A stainless swivel is included in the kit to connect the 2, 3 or 4 ring configurations, which allows the fender to rotate with the movement of the boat when maneuvering,

The combination of a strong PVC body, Kevlar reinforcement straps and HR stainless steel rings means the fender is able to withstand enormous strain compared to other fenders. Discover the extension test carried out by an independent laboratory:

Lighter

Fendress mudguards are significantly lighter than traditional rubber mudguards, making it easier for your crew to handle. For example, a 6ft Fendress mudguard measures approx. 12 kg, or less than half the weight of an equivalent rubber alternative.

Save space

Although the mudguard is made of PVC and not a textile material, it remains extremely flexible and very compact when fully deflated.

Easy to inflate

The Fendress mudguard uses a high pressure waterproof valve and can be inflated using any standard pump, used in other water sports, for example SUP or kite surfing. The valve is standard across the range, so you can inflate all your wings with just one pump. Inflating and deflating the kite is quick and extremely easy, so you can be ready to dock in no time.

Cylindrical fenders are a traditional and popular choice among sailors. They can be hung vertically or horizontally on the hull for optimal coverage.

Round fenders are ideal for protecting areas of the boat farther from the dock, such as the stern or bow, and very practical as a “floating” fender when maneuvering.

There are over 30 sizes available to accommodate boats of all sizes. They are also available in a range of five colors: white, black, gray, navy and anthracite.
