The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) Discord server was hacked by cyber criminals and they managed to steal Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) worth 200 Ethereum (ETH) on June 4, 2022.
The striker hacked the Discord account of Boris Vagner, the community manager of BAYC, and posted several phishing links in the account, his associated metaverse account “Otherside” and on the Discord account of the fantasy football club NFT Spoiled Banana Society (SPS), Coindesk reported.
The global crypto market cap rose 3.43% to $1.27 trillion as of 8:50 a.m. ET. Global crypto volume grew by 18.04% to $51.24 billion, according to data from Coinmarketcap.
Our Discord servers were briefly exploited today. The team caught him and processed him quickly. Around 200 ETH of NFT seems to have been affected. We’re still investigating, but if you’ve been impacted, email us at [email protected].

Today’s top gainer was Etho Protocol (ETHO), which rose 475.54% to $0.12. The big loser was Bee Inu (BEEINU), which lost 94.9% to $0.000006006.

Dogecoin (DOGE) rose 1.99% to $0.08275. Its volume to market capitalization ratio is 0.02906. Rival Shiba Inu (SHIB) rose 2.38% to $0.00001104.
Dogelon Mars (ELON) gained 6.34% to trade at $0.0000004598, Floki Inu (FLOKI) lost 1.59% to $0.000008671 and Samoyed Coin (SAMO) gained 4.12% to $0.005682.
In the DeFi segment, YFI (yearn.finance) rose 2.29% to $7,630.05, and Terra Classic (LUC) traded with a loss of 6.02% at $0.00008114. Avalanche (AVAX) rose 6.99% to $25.84, Uniswap (UNI) traded with a 3.86% gain to $5.26 and Aave (AAVE) gained 4.26% to 109 $.47.
