Appearing with “Liger” co-star Ananya Panday in the fourth episode of “Koffee With Karan” Season 7, Deverakonda clarified that the boat in question is actually “like a small yacht.”
He was responding to his famous host’s question/comment: “In the middle of the ocean? Nobody else or like…?” Hearing Deverakonda’s response, Karan remarked that it was sexy, even though Ananya said, “I don’t do all those things.”
Karan jumped at Ananya’s statement and, in her usual wide-eyed, schoolboy-smiling manner, and asked her if she hadn’t had sex in a public place, she replied, “I I didn’t.” And she added that her parents – Bollywood actor Chunky Panday and costume designer Bhavna Panday – were going to watch the show.
Ananya had clearly fallen into a trap and Karan didn’t let go. “So what do they think? They have a vestal virgin at home!
Deverakonda also let slip that he had sex in cars. Karan responded to this with, “But aren’t they uncomfortable? I haven’t done anything in a car.” The “Liger” rose to the occasion with a memorable response accompanied by a meaningful wink: “Desperate times”.
On a more personal note, Deverakonda, who is now considered perhaps the sexiest single man in the country, spoke candidly about the rumors that he was dating Rashmika “Srivalli” Mandanna.
He said they made two films together early in his professional career and have been good friends ever since. “She’s a darling and I like her. She’s a very good friend of mine.”
