Above the flybridge there is an outside starboard helm station, as well as a sit-down bar and an L-shaped sofa. There is a third open-air lounge, located at the bow of the superyacht. Warm, dark colors sum up the interior, which was chosen as the “Classic Mood” option. There are three double cabins on the lower deck and can accommodate up to six people. There is also the master suite and the crew cabins. Ferretti 860 offers two propulsion packages. The first is a pair of 2000 MAN V12 engines, allowing a maximum speed of thirty-two knots and a cruising speed of twenty-seven knots. About Ferretti

The Ferretti Group is an Italian multinational shipbuilding company headquartered in Forli, Italy. This company specializes in the design, construction and sale of luxury motor yachts. It was founded in 1968 by Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti. Initially, these two brothers were a small boat builder who produced their first motor sailer in 1971. Their decision to produce luxury motor yachts came in the 1980s. Then the fate of this company changed after the sudden death of Alessandro in 1995. When this happened, seventy percent of Ferretti’s ownership was acquired by Permira. Over time, it expanded internationally after acquiring a number of companies between 1998 and 2012. Since then, it also operates in the United States under Ferretti Group North America, Inc. It also has a subsidiary in Brazil, located in Sao Paulo and Foz do Iguaçu. There is also a Ferretti Asia-Pacific Group, which has representative branches in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Some of the most notable clients who have purchased a Ferretti yacht include Brigitte Bardot, Richard Burton and Sophia Loren.

Today, the company markets motor yachts in Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, the United States and Venezuela as a subsidiary of Ferretti of America, Inc. It also liaises with the commercial networks already present in Great Britain, France, Germany, Greece and Spain. From 2000, the Ferretti Group was listed on the official Italian Stock Exchange. In 2001, he was then admitted to STAR as a highly required stock segment of Borsa Italiana. However, after the September 11, 2001 attacks, it reverted to private enterprise. In 2006, Permira listed the company’s shares on the Milan Stock Exchange. This was postponed after a slight level of interest was received from private equity buyers. At an auction, Candover purchased sixty percent of the company’s stock at an auction, leaving thirty percent to its founder and the remaining ten percent to Permira.

Pinmar SL, a Spanish company specializing in painting mega-yachts for Irish entrepreneur Sean Ewing, has bought the Ferretti Group. In March 2010, the company continued its divestment by selling Apreamare SpA to Aprea and Pollia, the same two families responsible for founding the historic brand, Sorrento. In 2012, it was later acquired by Weichai Group, a Chinese multinational heavy machinery company also specializing in automobile manufacturing. Today, Ferretti’s equity is now split between Noberto Ferretti and management at 38.2%, Mediobanca at 8.8% and fifty-three percent in exit participation rights among the senior and mezzanine lenders. All voting rights regarding the company and its business management are exercised by its management team and Mediobanca, even after selling sixty percent of its stakes in December 2009.

Since its association with Mitsubishi, the Ferretti group has developed an anti-roll gyroscope (ARG). This is used as a means of reducing the effects of the waves whenever they hit their boats. It uses a counterweight and gyroscope to make an otherwise bumpy ride smoother. When visiting the company’s website, its homepage presents the 860 yachts as a beautifully orchestrated superyacht designed to bring a new symphony to life. Designed as a flybridge yacht by her Cattolica-based shipyard, there is a splendid blend of architectural elements and the luxurious styling is carefully detailed. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, it is a yacht that offers all the luxury a yachting enthusiast could hope for. This yacht is capable of accommodating up to twenty people on board and can hold 1,849 US gallons of fuel. Going through the promotional information on the Ferretti Yachts website, it reveals this design project as a classic contemporary model in the “A” design category and is classified as a B+F Aa (Sound Emission) RINA SpA The price of base of this yacht starts at 5,682,798.00 USD, at least according to the advertisement found on itBoat.
