Jack Haines takes us on a full tour of the Fleming 65, a refined trawler-style yacht that has a serious blue-water cruising pedigree…

It’s not a brand new model, in fact they started building them in 2005, but the Fleming 65 is a very interesting boat nonetheless.

Tony Fleming, the man behind these boats, took hull number one on a 60,000+ mile cruise, which perfectly shows what these ocean chatterboxes are all about.

In this video, Jack Haines takes us on a full yacht tour of a Fleming 65 which has been fitted with a pair of 405 hp Cummins diesel engines and a 1,700 gallon fuel tank giving her a cruising range of more than 2,500 nm.

Our tour begins in the cockpit where a pair of sliding doors provide access to the salon, which sports a very traditional design and layout.

Convenient features can be found throughout this boat, including an overhead rail that moves forward until you meet the ramps, so you always have something to grab in rough seas.

There are several living room layouts available, but whatever you choose, Fleming will also suit an extremely practical kitchen with a breakfast bar, two sinks, dishwasher, four-burner induction hob and fridge- American style full height freezer. .

Enjoy the visit…
