Tankoa unveils the new 76m Apache T760 concept

The steel and aluminum Apache project is based on a whole new technical platform with a beautifully sleek exterior styling, chic interior design and luxury features never seen before by Alberto Mancini. Inspired by modern architecture, Apache’s clean exterior lines are based on crisp horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. Resembling the tail or feathers of an arrow, they offer a beautiful dynamic appearance as well as minimized ramparts for uninterrupted views to the outside and intimate contact with the sea. The yacht will be 76 meters in length and a maximum width of 12.5 meters. “The stacked decks had to offer multiple areas for relaxation and social activities, but the balance between indoor and outdoor spaces had to be instinctive, bright and happy,” says designer Alberto Mancini. The interior style combines a discreetly sophisticated blend of Loro Piana soft fabrics and silk upholstery, warm oak flooring and nubuck suede to create a luxurious yet welcoming and understated ambience. Dark blue ash wood panels and a glass hallway running through the owner’s suite create a pleasant balance between warm and cool materials. The living and dining area on the main deck covers a light area of 118 m². It is the friendliest yacht, a place of conviviality with direct access to the large outdoor terrace or to the beach. There are four guest cabins on the main deck which benefit from much larger windows than conventional cabins on the lower deck, as well as a semi-open living room and gym on the foredeck, as well as a luxurious suite. VIP at the front. The second pool is located on the open aft deck. The lavish master cabin sits on the upper deck forward with direct access to the unique 9.5m long ‘flying pool’ forward. The pool has a glass bottom whose speckled light can seep into the semi-open living room and gym on the deck below. Such a foredeck feature has never been attempted before on a superyacht. The yacht’s beach club is a key feature which, when the folding side decks are deployed, offers 125m² of premium resort space and a floodable pool with access via a large central staircase from the main deck. It is connected to the garage which, when emptied of tenders and toys, offers even more space on the deck. The folding platforms are also fitted with one-way glass in the same color as the shell so as not to spoil the exterior aesthetics. Besides the beach club, the lower deck is dedicated to the crew and service areas with professional galley and mess, laundry, cold and dry warehouses and hull openings for quick and efficient supply and maintenance. of the ship. There is also a dedicated cinema room for guest use adjacent to the lobby and the elevator. “Apache consolidates Tankoa’s ability to build yachts of this size. It is an evolution of existing projects towards something innovative and more contemporary with the collaboration of a great designer like Alberto Mancini ”, said Vincenzo Poerio, CEO of Tankoa. Apache is expected to have a displacement of 1350 tonnes and a gross tonnage of 1515 GT. There are two propulsion options, the superyacht can reach a top speed of 16.5 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles. Tankoa was founded in 2007 and started production in 2008. A true “boutique shipyard”, focused on building semi-custom and made-to-measure constructions of 45 meters and more. Credits: Tankoa
