28m Vicem 93 cruiser sold to an Australian owner

Turkish shipyard Vicem Yachts has signed a contract for a 28.3 meter cold cast superyacht – the Vicem 93 Cruiser – for an Australian owner. Brendan Hunt, CEO of Vicsail – Vicem’s Australian dealership – explains the backstory behind the order: “The owners had seen the Vicem Cruiser 107 before and were completely in love with it, so contacted us directly. We teamed up with our Queensland agents on Leigh Smith Yachts, listened to their requests and designed the layout of the boat accordingly. We had great support from Vicem’s expert in-house design team. We wanted to make sure that every part of the boat was designed to be efficient and easy to use. ” ” Vicem Yachts already has two boats in Australia and two signed orders – the 93ft Cruiser and a 55ft Classic. We are confident this boat will be a huge hit in the Australian market once it is delivered,” continued Hunt. The new Vicem 93 Cruiser can accommodate 12 guests in four generous cabins. The yacht has plenty of sunbathing and lounging areas, a large cockpit, a flybridge hot tub and a specially designed flush deck for ease of movement on board, with no steps found on the main or lower levels. The Vicem 93 Cruiser packs a lot into her 28 metres, with ample storage space offered in the transom area and plenty of additional storage space found throughout the vessel. Construction of the AMSA certificate compliant ship’s mold has begun, with delivery scheduled for April 2023. Vicem Yachts was founded by Sebahattin HafizogluIt. The Vicem range of yachts includes the Classic, Flybridge, Cruiser, Vulcan, Sportfish and Bahama Bay lines. Credits: Vicem Yachts
